About The Friends

In 2014 Ed and Nina Rossomando met with Simon Holt, the first Executive Director of The United Theatre Project in the Westerly Land Trust building on High Street in Westerly, Rhode Island.

 

They suggested forming The Friends of The United to assist in developing the project by promoting awareness to the citizens of the Westerly geographic area.

 

Shortly thereafter they recruited Rob and Karen Hayden, Kay Danielle, and Joy Smith and The Friends of The United was born.

Today The FRIENDS of the United has grown into an organization of over 50+ enthusiastic and engaged volunteers, all united in our common love for the United Theatre and our Westerly arts community.
